... centrally located in Bristol I am a fully qualified and experienced counsellor and psychotherapist, professionally registered with the UKCP (United Kingdom Council for Psychotherapy). I am centrally located in Bristol near Whiteladies Road, on the borders of Clifton (BS8) and Redland (BS6). I offer a constructive, grounded approach to individuals and couples in a safe and confidential environment, with the aim of helping you to explore and gain clarity on various aspects of your life, to resolve problems which are troubling you and to find new direction. People seek out counselling and psychotherapy for many different reasons. You may feel that you are suffering from a recognised health problem, such as depression, addiction, stress or anxiety. You may be experiencing emotional problems with anger, jealousy, confidence or self-esteem. You may be facing difficulties in a relationship or have suffered a loss or bereavement. (For a full list of issues that I deal with, see below.) People also come to counselling with problems that are more difficult to define - a sense of confusion about their lives and about who they are, a lack of direction, a loss of meaning or joy in living, difficulties in relating to others or in sustaining good relationships. This website is designed to give you an idea of the way I work as a counsellor and psychotherapist. Everyone who comes to counselling or therapy brings with them a unique set of circumstances, background, values and beliefs. Consequently, I do not offer a "one-size-fits-all" approach. My intention is to work with you towards a resolution which respects who you are and your situation in life. Issues that I have experience of working with include: I am always happy to answer any queries you may have about the service I offer. You can email me or call me on 078 495 19 277. |
